Two funds for Māori filmmakers are closing next week.

Applications for the Te Rautaki Feature Film Initiative will close at 9am on Monday 4 February.  This initiative is for the production financing of dramatic feature films where a minimum of two out of three key creative roles are Māori.

Nominations for Te Aupounamu The Māori Screen Excellence Award will close at 9am on Friday 8 February.  This award is for Māori actively participating in the film industry in New Zealand or overseas.  Nominate your friends and colleagues and they could receive $50,000 to advance their careers in the industry.
