Te Tumu Whakaata Taonga The New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) is looking to engage an experienced Team Administrator for a fixed term period, initially for six (6) months.  This role is primarily responsible for coordinating and ensuring the smooth running of the Development and Production team during a period of high workload within the team.

Ideally you will be able to start immediately or within 2-3 weeks.

What will you be doing?

Providing high level support to the Head of Development and Production. Tasks will include:

Diary management
Prioritising, redirecting, drafting replies to emails, mail and phone calls
File and document management
Organising meetings including minute taking if required
Assisting with reporting requirements

Providing coordination and administrative support to the Development and Production team.

Tasks will include:

Booking travel
Arranging team meetings
Proof reading and formatting documents
Supporting special projects and events
Data management on internal CRM 
Liaison between internal teams 
Other administrative duties as required

What will you bring?

Previous experience (2+ years) working in a similar role 
Proven administrative and coordination skills and experience essential
Strong computer skills in the Microsoft Suite of products; understanding of databases; ideally worked with SharePoint and be digitally savvy
Demonstrates honesty, confidential, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions.
A positive “can do” attitude
Works well with others and can quickly build rapport
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise competing demands
A good understanding of the mechanisms of government (highly desirable)
A commitment to and understanding of the principles of Te Tīriti o Waitangi
A commitment to a culture of equality, inclusion and diversity
