Lure: First Light

A film about desire and place, where history and lost love mingle. Progress is represented by a train, barrelling forward in an endless rush. The train also symbolises the sense of flux that comes with living in a constant state of desire. Along with the train's rattling, we hear multiple voices combined into a multi-leveled cacophony, no single one distinguishable from another in a commentary on meaning and metaphor.

This experimental piece looks into where our consciousnesses may end up residing in a world where media constantly spits words at us, and we have nowhere to go to escape it.
